Martijn van Eck is a trainer, facilitator, and workforce transformation strategist at the intersection of HR, technology, and business. He is the creator of the peer-to-peer training programme “Grip op je toekomst met AI” at Leaders in Finance Academy.
His career started in 1998 at Bell Labs (Lucent Technologies) as an HR manager in the telecom industry, where he witnessed firsthand how internet technology disrupted traditional business models. That formative experience shaped his perspective: often technology progresses rapidly while people adapt more slowly.
Today, Martijn applies that insight to the AI revolution in financial services. He focuses on how artificial intelligence reshapes employment and skills requirements, and helps professionals develop resilience and adaptability rather than resistance.
